Lisa Hochberger is a sexuality educator who holds her Masters of Education in human sexuality. She is based in the New York metropolitan area. Formally trained in human sexuality, Lisa’s passion for the field of sexuality is rooted in her belief that all human beings should understand what healthy sex is, regardless of culture, body or ability. Her particular areas of expertise are: the intersection of media and sexuality, the effects of body image on sexuality, sexuality for people of all abilities, social media’s effect on sexuality and modern dating websites.
As a part of her work, Lisa has guest taught human sexuality at several universities including Montclair State, Kean University, and Borough of Manhattan Community College. In 2016, Lisa was as a teaching assistant at William Paterson University.
Lisa attends Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies where she is a doctoral candidate. Her dissertation research focuses on perceptions of "successful" online daters’ who have switched from online to Face-to-Face communication and formed a subsequent long-term romantic relationship.
